Meghan Brodie

Hi! I’m Meghan, the owner of The House Finch and a lifelong lover of all things organized. My passion for order started early—my favorite spot as a child was the Tupperware cabinet (even if my family couldn’t quite keep up with my system!).

I grew up in Hanover, VA, and after graduating from the University of Virginia, I embarked on a journey that took me to Atlanta for careers in marketing, consulting, and eventually teaching. As an elementary school teacher for over six years, I adored shaping young minds, but it was during a summer break that I found my true calling: organizing.

I had the privilege of working with Claire Kurtz, owner of The Well-Organized Woman, and discovered the joy of transforming spaces—from kitchens to garages—into places of calm and efficiency. That experience inspired me to launch The House Finch and share my love for functional, beautiful spaces with others.

Now based in the West End, I share my life with my husband, Kyle, our three little adventurers and our big, lovable dog, Sadie. When I’m not organizing, you’ll find me reading historical fiction, playing tennis, hiking, or taking Burn Bootcamp classes. I also love exploring new places—especially our family beach house on St. Helena Island—and learning new hobbies like Mahjong.

My favorite kind of day starts with an americano with a splash of almond milk, a good book, and some dark chocolate. While I might be an introvert at heart, I thrive on helping others create spaces that truly work for their families. Let’s bring some peace and order to your home together!
